A crash at 16th and South Van Ness this morning involving a motor scooter and another vehicle has left the rider of the scooter in critical condition. The accident happened at about 10 a.m. and a witness at the nearby Hyundai dealership said the rider of the scooter, who was wearing a helmet, was left lying in the street bleeding from the head.
The scooter reportedly became stuck under the front of the vehicle.
The injured rider was taken to a hospital at 10:13 a.m. with life-threatening injuries.
