Around 11 a.m. Wednesday morning a cyclist was struck on her bike by a van near the intersection of Broadway (or S.F. Bicycle Route 10, to the two-wheeled set) and the Embarcadero. The cyclist was conscious and breathing when she was taken by ambulance to S.F. General Hospital.

SFPD spokesman officer Gordon Shyy told Bay City News that the driver of the van remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities this morning. The extent of the cyclist's injuries are still unknown at this point.
