The wonderful Tamara Palmer of NBC Bay Area has first word that, yes, Prince will be coming to San Francisco at the end of April. In fact, he's coming to SoMa, playing at the DNA Lounge!

Last night during a podcast hosted by DrFunkenberry.com, the ladies behind Prince's new protégé band 3rd Eye Girl (Donna Grantis, Hanna Ford-Welton, and Ida Nielsen) announced that they will tour with the Purple One.The show is expected to stop at San Francisco's DNA Lounge on April 23-24. Two shows will be performed each night.
The purple one will play four shows. Looks like the shows have yet to appear on the offical DNA calendar, but we'll update as soon as tickets go on sale.
