Wednesday night in West Portal, two pedestrians crossing a crosswalk were hit by a car. The incident occurred at the intersection of Vicente Street and West Portal Avenue at around 9:40 p.m.
The driver remained at the scene of the collision and is cooperating with the investigation," reports SF Appeal. "Both the pedestrians and the driver of the vehicle claimed to have had the right of way at the time of the collision."
One of the pedestrians, a female, was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
