Three suspects in their late teens or early twenties totally harshed some other kids' mellow when they turned a potential weed deal into a home invasion robbery Saturday afternoon at Park Merced.

The two victims, ages 18 and 20, met the three suspects around 5 p.m. and reportedly brought them over to one of the community's many garden apartments with the intent of selling them some marijuana. Things went south when one of the suspects pulled a gun and stole the weed while his accomplice took a laptop and a cellphone from another room. The three suspects had not been found as of Monday morning. Thankfully for the teens, who will probably think twice about their illicit behavior in the future, neither blood nor bongwater was spilled. No one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone who spots three teens/twentysomethings with a stash of weed and a laptop that looks like it doesn't belong to them is encouraged to called SFPD's anonymous tipline at (415) 575-4444 or via text text message to TIP411 with "SFPD" in the message.
