A 31-year-old man was shot and killed yesterday afternoon while sitting in his car near 1300 Thomas Avenue in the Bayview. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m., and the victim was shot in the head and chest.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
This would be the city's 8th or 9th homicide of the year the 8th on the map below, but the 9th if you include the case of the attack on 77-year-old Dallas Ayers, which is so far being treated as a homicide.
