A 24-year-old woman stands accused of assaulting a two-year-old at the Golden Gate Park playground. Vile on all accounts if true.

"The attack was reported at about 4:30 p.m. at the Koret Children's Quarter near Kezar Drive in the southeast corner of the park," reports SF Appeal. "The woman, a 24-year-old whose name has not been released, kicked the girl in the torso, causing her to hit her head on the pavement."

The presumably horrible human being also threatened other people around her before being taken into custody. No word yet if the child was the suspect's daughter or of any relation.

This is a good time to point out that you should always, always, always report witnessed instances of child abuse. Remember, the little ones usually can't report it themselves/know how to ask for help!
