Three teenage girls are wanted by UC police in Berkeley after they assaulted two women on Dwight Way and Prospect Streets near a residential part of the UC Berkeley campus.
The Oakland Tribune reports the two victims were walking on Dwight Way just before 10 p.m. on Friday when the three rambunctious teens sprayed something — possibly pepper spray — in one woman's face. When the women tried to escape, they grabbed the other woman, punched her in the face, knocked her to the ground and gave her the pepper spray treatment as well. When they demanded loot from the two women, a passerby intervened and the girls took off in a white Dodge Charger.
The two women declined medical treatment after the unsuccessful mugging. Neither Berkeley PD or UCPD could find the getaway vehicle in the immediate area, but if anyone see a white Dodge Charger with three mean-mugging teen girls in it, they should call UC Police at 510-642-6760.
