Around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, the power went out along the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street. Officially only 35 PG&E customers were without power, but those 35 customers included a couple of Ferry Building restaurants and, coincidentally, San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York.
York, who has had the lights go out on him a couple times now, was apparently heading to dinner at Slanted Door when the outage hit:
Supposed to have dinner at Slanted Door but the lights went out. I'm starting to think that's not a coincidence.

In 2011, PG&E also turned the lights out on York during a Monday Night Football game at Candlestick Park. In 2014, York will get to see that stadium demolished as he and the team depart for Santa Clara.
