Police are trying to determine the name and age (believed to be somewhere around 19) of a man who was shot and killed in East Oakland's Laurel neighborhood on Saturday night. The unidentified victim was found shot around 10:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Quigley Street between Interstate 580 and MacArthur Boulevard.

He succumbed to his wounds at the scene. This brings Oakland's homicide tally to 9 for this year.

As Oakland Tribune points out: "Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the killer. Anyone with information may call investigators at 510-238-3821 or a tip line at 510-773-2805 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572."
