Afternoon Palate Cleanser: The New Postal Service Track

Yes, friends, many have hoped against hope for the last decade that it would happen, and it has. The Postal Service has reunited. Death Cab's Ben Gibbard and collaborator Jimmy Tamborello, a.k.a. Dntel, are going on tour for the first time since their one and only album release ten years ago. They'll be at Coachella, and at a sold-out show in April at the Mondavi Center. In fact, if you want to see them, you might have to go to Las Vegas, because Coachella sold out too. Anyway, today brings the first of two new tracks, "A Tattered Line of String," and it features Jenny Lewis. As Vulture puts it, "2003 is still happening." [Vulture]
