Due to the impending blizzard heading to the east coast, scores of flights -- 55 as of this morning, to be exact -- have been cancelled.

"As of 4:30 a.m., 38 departures and 17 arrivals have been canceled at SFO," reports SF Appeal. "Flights heading to Newark Liberty International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and Logan International Airport have been impacted the most so far."

So far no flight cancellations have been reported at Oakland International Airport.

The blizzard is expected to hit NYC today and last until Saturday.
