Three people were shot during a Vallejo break-in early this morning. The victims, a mother and her adult son and daughter, are all expected to survive after suffering gunshot wounds during an attempted burglary after 3 a.m. The invaders are described as two men with hooded sweatshirts whom police believe chose the home on the 1500 block of McDougal Street at random.
The sister was shot in the hand after waking up and discovering the assailants, but did not need to be hospitalized. When the son and mother investigated, the intruders shot the woman in the lower part of her body and the man in the face.
No arrests have been made.
