Though this year's Macworld/iWorld 2013 features Will.i.am, Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad -- the last two will star as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in jOBS, respectively -- it will also have a heavy emphasis on music and art.

Such as:

- A film festival featuring works fully created on a phone or iPad
- iphone photography art gallery exhibit (i.e., "iPhoneography")
- full event of iphoneography
- A performance by Little Feat and the winner of their social media contest, Mister Loveless, a band that perform using Apple technology. Out of 300 finalists, Mister Loveless won the opportunity to play for a crowd of adoring Mac sec members.

In addition to the aforementioned digital art scene, you can expect the usual at Macworld: 255 exhibitors featuring 50 new app companies (100 total), 20-30 utilities companies, and an astounding 650 members of the press providing coverage worldwide.

Macworld/iWorld 2013 start today, January 31, and runs until Sunday, February 3. As always, the convention will end with a drum circle. (You do know that Macworld ends with a drum circle, right? Because it does.)
