Astronaut Tweets Best Golden Gate Bridge View Ever (From Space)

Right now, Canadian Astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield is hurtling through space some 230 miles above the Earth aboard the International Space Station, where he is currently installing neutron radiation detectors and watching hockey. As you can imagine, he's got a pretty good view up there.

Yesterday afternoon, Hadfield and his enviable mustache tweeted the above photo of San Francisco, including Tiburon and the Marin Headlands on the left to the port of Oakland at the top and SFO down there on the right. As Hadfield says, if you look closely, you can even make out the shadows of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. Lovely. (Even lovelier than this cool view of Los Angeles, if you ask us.)
