A full week before the 49ers clinched a spot in Super Bowl XLVII, quarterback Colin Kaepernick applied to trademark the term "Kaepernicking," the widely repeated move of flexing his right bicep and moving to kiss it.

Kaepernick did this twice during the dramatic game against Green Bay two weeks ago, and the move then went viral, a la Tebowing, which Tim Tebow also wisely trademarked.

NBC brings us the trademark application, which you can view here. And this could bring the young football star a windfall in t-shirt sales, especially if when we win the Super Bowl!
