Eric Mar Giving Away His 49ers Playoff Tickets

David Chiu might be making headlines -- he's the first board member in history to be elected to three consecutive two-year terms as president of the BOS, which is to say, like Farmer Ted, he's king of the dweebs -- but supervisor Eric Mar is winning hearts. Well, Richmond district hearts. See, the District 3 1 supervisor is giving away his tickets to Saturday's 49ers playoff game against Green Bay.

Mar wrote to Richmond Blog:

“The 49ers give each Supervisor tickets to every home game. Typically, I give mine away to local schools and community groups.
