Tomorrow's 49ers-Packers playoff game — the pre-game to Sunday's Golden Globes Awards — will be a biggie. And you'll want to watch the game in the comfort of fellow sane and demure football fans. Here are a few recommended places in which you can watch the game while carefully sipping your cocktail.

Mad Dog in the Fog: The name alone suggests sports-like activities. Also, it's in the white-hot Lower Haight.

Hi-Tops: Castro's gay sports bar will be packed with gays. Lots of gays. Sporty gays. Horny gays. A great place for people of all types, of course. They also boast an amazing menu created by former Top Chef contestant Jamie Lauren.

Pete's Tavern: Mission Bay sports bar boasts chicken wings ($9), bacon wrapped dog ($11), and sliders ($10).

Pedro's Cantina: Next door to Pete's Tavern you can get Pedro’s Nachos ($7 / $14), soft tacos ($4 each, 3 for $11, 5 for $18), and a South Beach Wrap ($9).

Public House: Located at AT&T Park, this is perfect for those of you who want to watch the game at the home of world champs.

The Phoenix: The assholes of the Mission seems to stay away from this place, thus we recommend it highly.

Louie's: Everybody loves Louie's/Louie's simple and kind/Everybody loves Louie's/Louie's lovable. (Also, they have great nachos.) Hidden out of the way gem favored by many. Don't fuck it up.

Pilsner Inn: Lots of TVs, lots of sporty types, lots of gays.

Kezar Pub: Of course.

Chug Pub: We watched one of the World Series games here. Some guy was smoking pot out the window the entire time. DON'T DO THAT.

Zeke's: Third Street bar for die-hard sports fans, drunks. Brace yourselves.

• Hogs & Rocks: For $10 you get one of these classy beer/shot specials: Victoria & Pueblo Viejo Tequila, Scrimshaw Pilsner & Old Fitzgerald Bourbon, or Oatis Oatmeal Stout & Jameson Whiskey.

Noe's Bar: This place is for neighborhood locals who know that Noe Valley shreds. Attached to Basso's, everyone here rules in every way. Diverse crowd. Have at it.

Columbus Cafe: Never been. Just wanted to throw a bone to the area.

• Any place in the Marina: Or so we assume.
