Yesterday evening, a man and a woman were found bound and gagged on a street in Visitacion Valley on the southern side of the City. Both victims were alive, but suffering from life-threatening injuries when SFPD officers found them on Brussels Street near Mansell Street around 8:30 p.m. last night.
They were taken to S.F. General Hospital where the man later succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made and SFPD has not released any additional details in the case at this time.
Update: Chron Reporter Vivian Ho tweeted a photo of where the crime occurred. According to Ho, the SFFD had to wash the blood off the street:

Update II: The Examiner also talked to some neighbors. The man was reportedly in his 20s and the girl in her teens. She was still in critical condition at SF General as of Monday evening. SFPD is treating this as a homicide.
