Last week, we reported the sad news that 10-month-old restaurant Jake's on Market was shutting its doors and bidding adieu to both the neighborhood and the amateur critics that the owners felt contributed to its untimely demise. Today, we bring you a dramatic reading of their letter, which begins so sweetly before taking a turn towards the nasty.

There you have it: Restaurant opens. Restaurant is blogged about. Yelpers Yelp. Restaurant closes. Restauranteurs rail at Yelp. Someone makes a cheap joke on YouTube. And the circle of restaurant life is complete.
