Around 3 a.m. Saturday morning a 25-year-old man walking alone in Fisherman's Wharf was jumped by two suspects near the corner of Bay Street and Columbus Avenue.
According to Bay City News, the two 20-something suspects approached the victim from different directions before one suspect knocked the man to the ground. The second suspect stabbed the victim three times and the pair of thugs made off with his cellphone.
Despite life-threatening injuries, the victim managed to walk home where his roommate drove him to St. Francis Hospital before he was transferred to San Francisco General to be treated.
