A 51-year-old homeless man was found dead Friday in a park in Santa Cruz, and three people have been jailed in connection with his murder. The victim was found dead at a campsite along some train tracks near Depot Park, and a preliminary investigation quickly led to the arrest of 26-year-old Jeremiah James Long.

Then, Saturday, police also arrested two others, 41-year-old Michael Valgene Hudson and 21-year-old Shaelyn Zeanne Gonzales, under suspicion of murder, conspiracy and violating probation terms. No motive for the murder has been revealed.

The victim has also not yet been identified.
