A deplorable 14-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday in connection with a brutal kidnapping and sexual assault of a 65-year-old woman. "Detectives spoke with the victim and determined that she had been kidnapped at gunpoint from in front of a retail store in the 100 block of Plaza Drive in Vallejo," reports Bay City News. "Police said she was forced to drive to a location within five miles of her abduction and was physically and sexually assaulted, then left unconscious and bound by duct tape in a ditch."

As the woman was being forced away a gunpoint, a family member received a phone call from someone, presumably the vile youth, demanding money in exchange for the victim's safe return. She was dumped in a ditch near Hiddenbrooke Parkway and Interstate Highway 80 a little after 6 p.m. Police were able to arrest him as he attempted to return to the scene of the crime.

Booked in Solano County jail today, the suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, carjacking, armed robbery, and kidnapping for ransom.
