An altercation between two middle-aged men aboard a Muni bus Monday afternoon resulted in one of the men getting his hand cut up from the other man's knife.

The incident happened around 3:20 p.m. Monday on board a bus (route unnamed) traveling on Haight Street near Central Avenue. A dude in his 40s or 50s pulled a knife on another guy, 54, who then tried to grab the knife from him, by the blade. Thus, his hand was slashed. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.

There's no word on the cause of the altercation, and the suspect fled the scene after both men got off the bus. He has not been found.
