On Monday afternoon, before being re-elected to her 13th full term in Congress, House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi's Napa County home was burglarized in a curious midday break-in. Authorities from the local Sheriff's department responded to a burglary alarm at the home on Zinfandel Lane near St. Helena, CA around 3 p.m. to find someone had shattered the glass doors to the main residence and her pool house.

According to the Sheriff's department, the home's obvious valuables were still in place after the break-in, so it is currently unclear whether burglars were up to some Watergate-esque nefarious business, or if they just saw the minority leader's picture on the mantle and decided they picked the wrong house to knock over.

No one was home at the time and authorities up in wine country currently have no suspects in the case. As of this morning, the home's other residents had yet to determine whether anything less obvious than a flatscreen TV was missing. In addition to the Napa County residence, Pelosi also keeps a place in her home district of San Francisco, naturally.
