Humphry Slocombe's Sean Vahey and Jake Godby, churners of ice cream with an edge, will appear in conversation tonight at a boozy salon series. You shouldn't miss it. In addition to concocting dozens of acclaimed heroin-like frozen dairy treats at their Mission-based store, the duo recently came out with an ice cream book (which we wildly recommend). They also own a business in the white-hot Mission, so they've got loads of details being successful, brick-and-mortar-wise.

If you haven't familiarized yourself with Vahey and Godby, you should. So head over to 543 Howard tonight between 6-9pm to hear them talk about ice cream, owning your own business, and more. The is the final talk in a series present by dot429, a queer networking group. Tonight's salon will cost you $35 ($25 for members). Proceeds will go to benefit Under One Roof. Details.
