A 22-year-old man was shot in the upper torso while walking either on Caledonia Street or 15th Street early Saturday morning at around 2:45 a.m. He seems to have run to Valencia Street and collapsed there, after which he was taken to S.F. General.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Details about the shooting are still few and sketchy, but the Appeal reports that it does not appear to be gang-related.
This was S.F.'s 50th homicide of the year.
