If you're like us, you're pretty fed-up with all the optimism, pomposity, and theoretical jibbajabba that derive from the "brain spa" that is the TED Conference, which now happens three times a year in various locales. Well, the Onion has now taken this ripe target and satirized it with a weekly video series called Onion Talks, which launched this week with "Compost-Fueled Cars: Wouldn't That Be Great?"
The humor hear comes after the first minute or so when our affable lecturer gets to his asinine PowerPoint presentation, which includes Step 1: The Idea, and Step 2: Create the Car. "We've already completed Step One," he beams, followed by applause.
