Just two hours after Mayor Lee cut the ribbon and declared today Uniqlo USA Day in San Francisco this morning, the line waiting to get first crack at colorful $10 denim was stretching around the block on Powell Street.
Our pals at Uptown Alamanac generously estimated the line was a six hour wait to get a crack at all those colors of cashmere sweaters. As tweeting photographer Meg Nakamura notes, it's more impressive than any line at an Apple store in recent memory.
