Just after midnight early Sunday morning, a man was shot by three suspects on the first block on Ellis Street near Market Street. The three suspects were walking with the victim before they opened fire on him, the Examiner reports. Police have yet to determine if the unidentified suspects knew the victim before putting him in S.F. General Hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds to his torso and upper body.

The suspects are all thought to be men in their 30s, but no other details are available at the moment. They had not been found as of yesterday evening. SFPD does not currently believe this was a gang-related incident.
