A local restaurant cook was viciously attacked while sitting in his SUV outside his Mission Terrance home Monday. The victim, 35-year-old Antonio, told KTVU that he was in his car when the suspect approached and asked him for directions before suddenly punching him in the face. When Antonio tried to defend himself, the suspect attacked form the passenger side of the car, eventually chasing the victim down the street to beat him on the sidewalk and steal his wallet.

A neighbor across the street in the residential neighborhood near Mission and Maynard Street caught the entire incident on her cellphone as it happened early Monday evening. In the video, the suspect can be seen repeatedly punching the victim, digging through his pockets and eventually kicking Antonio before making off with a wallet containing $150 in cash and a paycheck.

Antonio, who believes he won't be able to return to work until next week, had to get seven stitches after the beating and suffered a swollen cheek and a fractured nose. "I have two sons and my wife," Antonio explained to KTVU, "[I] never, never had a lot of problems. I lived in SF for 18 years."

KTVU has the video report, plus the harsh footage from the neighbor's cellphone.
