A 35-year-old man had the misfortune of getting a flat tire last night near Cesar Chavez Street and Evans Avenue, just before midnight. He was trying to change the tire when he was approached by a man in his 40s who pulled a gun and demanded his wallet. The victim complied, and was then pistol-whipped.
He suffered a cut to his forehead in addition to the lost wallet.
