Afternoon Palate Cleanser: 'Single Ladies' as Sung by Olympic Diver Matthew Mitcham

Openly gay Olympic diver Matthew Mitcham, who hails from Australia, just uploaded this charming cover of "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" in which he proves that he's not only a great diver and a decent singer, but he also is a damn fine ukulele player. If he's still single after these Olympics, we'd be much surprised.

He says he made the video in London after a Twitter fan asked him to, and he writes, "I profess to be neither a great instrumentalist nor singer, I'm just an Olympic diver who likes to strum away in his spare time."
