Tonight at the Vogue Theatre in Laurel Heights, legendary local indie rocker John Vanderslice will perform David Bowie's classic album Diamond Dogs in its entirety followed by a screening of Michel Gondry's dreamy 2006 flick "The Science of Sleep". It's a concert. It's a movie. It's only 15 bucks and you should definitely bring that quirky, indie-leaning guy or gal in your life.

The event is part of a collaborative series between concert promoters (((folkYEAH))) and CinemaSF, the folks who maintain some of our loveliest neighborhood theaters like the Balboa and the Vogue. Previous installments saw the Sean Smith Trio doing Kraftwerk's Autobahn followed by "The Big Lebowski" and this is a one-night-only type thing, so this will probably be your only chance to hear John Vanderslice put "Rebel Rebel" through it's paces.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. You can find those right here.
