Late Saturday night, a 40-year-old victim was stabbed near City Hall at Van Ness and McAllister Street after two suspects popped the "are you in a gang?" question on him just before midnight. After the man apparently gave the wrong answer to their question, the two suspects stabbed him in the back and took off.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries, which he is expected to survive. Neither suspect had been found as of Monday morning, and even after several of these (likely gang-related) stabbings have popped up in recents months, we're still not entirely sure what the correct answer to the question is. A police badge and a taser, probably.
