Marissa Mayer's first day at Yahoo on Tuesday came replete with a layette (above) gifted to her by her new worker bees, and giant balloon bouquets (below) from former Google colleagues. "13 balloons in each for my 13 years and purple at the top of each for Yahoo!," Mayer explains.
The 37-year-old Yahoo CEO made headlines this week after being plucked from Google to head the troubled Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company, making her the fifth CEO in five years. After Tuesday's big announcement, she had dropped another: she's roughly seven months pregnant.
Congratulations on your first day, Marissa. Now, please, please, please get to work on saving Flickr! (And getting better office furniture. Sheesh.)
