Jenna Jameson, star of 161 adult films and countless teenage wet dreams, will grace the stage at SoMa's Gold Club for her very first appearance in San Francisco. The former Penthouse Pet, who somehow missed out on the opening of that magazine's steaks-and-skin offshoot in North Beach, will be on hand Thursday, August 2nd to help the endlessly praised gentlemen's club ring in eight years of toplessness and lunch buffets.

The ticketed event will run eager fans 20 bucks for admission and will include a VIP cocktail reception, free appetizers, two-for-one lap dances by the Gold Club ladies and the possibility of maybe getting your copy of Ms. Jameson's book How to Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale signed by the lady herself. (No guarantees though, as we're sure she's a popular lady.) There's also some kind of raffle to win iPads and Kindles, but if you're staring at your tablet computer inside of the West Coast's most celebrated strip joint, you are definitely doing something very wrong with your life.
