Friday Night Shooting Rocks Whimsical SF Neighborhood

In between wringing their hands over a delayed artisan niche market and catching glimpses of SFist's Andrew Dalton at his favorite Popeye's spore, denizens of San Francisco's magically new San Francisco neighborhood, NoPa, were rattled out of their comfort zone after a person was shot in the area on Friday night.

According to SF Appeal, "The victim heard gunshots while walking in the 1300 block of Grove Street, which is between Divisidero and Broderick." After being shot in the leg, the resourceful victim then took himself to a nearby hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.
