A purse-snatching led to a woman getting critically injured last night just before midnight in the Glen Park neighborhood. The 28-year-old woman was walking near the intersection of Bosworth Street and Brompton Avenue when three male suspects approached her from behind and demanded her purse. She struggled with them and ended up falling backwards and fracturing her skull on the pavement.
She was taken to SF General with injuries that are considered life-threatening.
And all over a purse.
The suspects fled and police are still seeking tips at 415-575-4444 or by text to TIP411. Perhaps they will be stupid enough to try to use one of the credit cards.
