A 22-year-old man was driving near Le Conte and Meade Avenues in the Bayview around 2 a.m. this morning when a gunshot wound to the head caused him to crash into a parked car vehicle. The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 5 a.m. this morning.
As of this afternoon, SFPD did not have any suspect information available in the shooting that marked the 27th homicide in the city this year.
