Mitt Romney Campaign Misspells 'America' On New iPhone App

Noted bully and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his campaign misspelled the oft-used word "America" on their new With Mitt iPhone app. The new app, which "allows users to take photographs and add various pro-Romney phrases to the image," notes Politico, launched on Tuesday. The misstep prompted an #Amercia hashtag to trend on Twitter, while the media has since penned many terrible news stories about the minor SNAFU going "viral." (Side note: can we finally retire that tired term used for anything popular online?)

Granted, only fancy book-learning socialists who want nothing more than to steal your grandma's dentures could possibly care about such a misstep. (Or perhaps it was a clever comment about the CIA? Or... something?) ABC had this painful explanation, more or less blaming the internet. Nevertheless, it's a fun gaffe. Let's all point our fingers at Mitt and laugh.
