Another victim has lost a wallet, a cellphone and an unspecified amount of blood to 2012's knife crime epidemic. According to police, the 24-year-old male victim was walking near North Point Drive on the lawless landfills of Treasure Island when two suspects snuck up on him, held a knife to his throat, punched him in the face and slashed his neck before knocking him to the ground.

The two suspects repeatedly punched and kicked the victim while he lay on the ground before taking off with his jewelry, phone and wallet. The cut to the victim's neck was luckily not life-threatening and he was treated at a nearby hospital.

So far, no arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions have been released.
