Hazmat Situation In Emeryville Prompts Shelter-In-Place [Updated]

A "hydrogen-related" hazmat situation in Emeryville has prompted a shelter-in-place for residents as well as the complete shutdown for Emery Secondary School. The incident occurred at 45th and San Pablo. We'll update as soon as we know more.

Update: According to Oakland Tribune, the cause is a "possible hydrogen fuel tank leak at an AC Transit bus yard in Emeryville."

Update II: Pixar has been evacuated!

Update III: Most of the evacuations have been lifted.
