A 23-year-old man was shot while sitting inside a car Saturday night/early Sunday at the intersection of Missouri Street and Turner Terrace, near the Potrero Hill Playground. The incident happened just after 3 a.m. Sunday, and the victim was with friends dropping someone off when shots rang out.
The driver of the car tried flip a U-Turn and speed away, but a bullet shattered the rear window of the car and hit the victim, who was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It's unclear where on his body the victim was shot, but he remains alive as of today.
