Last night's torrential downpour and electrical stimulation were apparently no match for the grounds crew (and a very large tarp) at AT&T Park. As Facilities Manager Jorge Costa reports the field looks beautiful in preparation for today's home opener against the Pirates.
Now that the morning clouds are making way for some afternoon sun, everything looks to be in place for a lovely day at the ballpark. First pitch goes out at 1:35 p.m. and we humbly suggest fans with bleacher tickets bring a towel.
