After Rick Santorum pulled out of the presidential race on Tuesday, frontrunner GOP candidate Mitt Ronmey admitted that he cannot wait to spread the remnants of Rick's bungled campaign. In fact, Romney hopes to team up with the former Pennsylvania senator on the campaign trail to beat Obama, reports NY Post. Behold:

"I think Sen. Santorum throughout the campaign has been speaking about issues that we care about very deeply," Romney said. "So we’re on the same page on those issues, and I think you'll see us all come together in a very powerful way, but the time for that will happen down the road as we spend more time together, hit the trail together."

Although he managed to nab 11 states during his run, and (most disturbingly) proved more popular than Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul, Santorum called it quits yesterday after suffering defeats in Wisconsin, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. His daughter, Bella, was also recently hospitalized due to a rare genetic disorder.

President Barack Obama leads Romney in the presidential campaign, at least according to recent polls.
