Four men ages 21 to 35 were busted by Sonoma County law enforcement on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography. The four men were located after a sting operation resulted in the subpeona of individual addresses via internet service providers, and six search warrants. The operation involved eleven separate law enforcement agencies from around the Bay Area and the country, including the FBI, and it sounds like it could lead to further arrests.

The four men arrested are Tyson DeCarlo, 35, of Sebastopol, and Joshua Conway, 26, Daniel Martinez, 27, and Hunter Odom, 21, all of Santa Rosa. They're each being held on $10,000 bail.

Nine men aged 23 to 64 were recently arrested on similar charges in what was probably an affiliated sting in San Mateo County. Also, there were those four men arrested in San Jose back in January.

This follows on a similar sting in Sonoma County last fall that resulted in the arrest of six men. So what is it about the Bay Area that it's like this hotbed of child porn!? Or they're just more proactive about finding it here lately?
