A home invasion robbery early Sunday in a home on the Piedmont-edge stretch of Park Boulevard has left four people shaken, and without a few wallets, iPads and iPhones. Two masked men broke down the door of the home at 4800 Park Boulevard where four adult residents were sleeping upsairs, at around 4 a.m. One armed man ordered everyone on the ground with a gun, and the other stole their wallets, IDs, a laptop, and some other items.

Police estimate the robbers were there about ten minutes, and the occupants called in the crime at 4:11 a.m., after they left.

A few fingerprints were taken, but police have no suspects and are seeking tips at 510-420-3013. They also note that this particular edge of Piedmont sees a little more crime than other parts of the tony burg, given its easy access to the freeway, and it basically being Oakland over there anyway.
