While your SFist editor recoils in horror over somehow not winning Tuesday's prize (the Goddess works in mysterious ways, we suppose), tonight's drawing will be one for the history books. An estimated $640 million Mega Millions is up for grabs. Will it be you? (Hint: odds say no.)

Naturally, because everyone is more or less poor nowadays, people are scrambling to buy tickets. "At 19th Avenue Liquors in the Sunset district — identified by the California Lottery as one of The City’s lucky vendors due to having sold winning tickets in 1987 and 1996 — there has been a tenfold boost in sales of Mega Millions tickets," reports SF Examiner. "Owner Elias 'Big Lou' Shamieh said the line could be out the door and around the corner by the end of the workday today."

Meanwhile, there's no one outside the liquor store below SFist headquarters at Stillman and Third in SoMa, so... knock yourselves out, folks. And good luck.
