SFist's own Brock Keeling is on the scene of a brutal hit and run accident at Bryant and Second Streets in SOMA this afternoon. Reportedly, a pedestrian was crossing Second street when he was struck by a white vehicle heading east on Bryant.

Police are currently on the scene, but no word yet on the car's whereabouts or the victim's condition. We'll update as we know more details.

Update: "According to an eyewitness, a white Acura Integra" hit the unidentified man before fleeing the scene.
